I have been interested in nature since I was a child and was early on active in youth organisations dealing with nature conservation and environmental topics in Sweden. That influenced both my professional life as well as my private life. 

Like most nature photographers I looked with fascination on photos and programs from various fantastic places in our world and did dream about being able to visit and see those places. 

I took up photography when I was sixteen but due to my professional career, I didn’t really have time to keep up with it for many years. When I was in my mid-forties, my sons took the initiative to travel with the family to Kenya and Tanzania, and that triggered me to take up my photography again. Since then, I have had the privilege to travel to many fantastic places on our planet, sometimes with the family and often with Wild Nature Photo Travel – www.wildnaturefotoresor.se/en/ 

I have had a few exhibitions in my home village but didn’t for a long time do anything else with my photos. 

Encouraged by my wife who is an artist I decided to take it one step further and created a homepage for display of my pictures.
